The Opportunity

Highspring is seeking a Python Developer – AI & Machine Learning Solutions to join a collaborative machine learning squad focused on developing cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence solutions, including Machine Learning (ML) and Generative AI (GenAI) applications.

In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, testing, and ongoing support of enterprise-grade Python solutions while working closely with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and technical teams. This position is ideal for a skilled Python developer with strong software engineering fundamentals and an interest in emerging AI technologies.

What You’ll Do

- Develop and maintain enterprise-level Python applications and reusable libraries.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and SMEs to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Contribute to the support, monitoring, and continuous improvement of Python-based solutions.
- Participate in prompt engineering activities for Generative AI applications.
- Maintain and optimize prompts to align with evolving Large Language Model (LLM) capabilities.
- Conduct regular testing, validation, and performance analysis of AI and ML solutions.
- Assist with prompt benchmarking and evaluation initiatives.
- Apply software engineering best practices, including object-oriented design, testing frameworks, and API development.
- Work within Agile delivery teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Contribute to system resiliency, observability, scalability, and performance improvement efforts.





What You Bring to the Table

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Eagerness to learn and adopt emerging AI and Generative AI technologies.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
