Irving group of companiesRelocation cost (if applicable)Hybrid flexible work options (if applicable)$120,000 - $170,000 (please note that this is an estimate and actual pay will vary depending on experience, qualifications, and professional certifications.)Job DescriptionDevelop and Implement Reliability FrameworkLead the development, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of the Key Elements of Reliability (KER) framework for the Tissue Division, ensuring alignment with divisional and corporate goals and best practices.Drive Site Auditing, Performance Measurement, and Continuous ImprovementExecute and refine the auditing process for all sites, utilizing a key element scoring approach to evaluate and benchmark reliability practices.Collaborate with site Maintenance and Reliability leaders to assess current practices and develop targeted improvement plans based on audit results.Assist in developing, tracking, and reporting divisional Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), both leading and lagging, to monitor reliability improvements and drive accountability.Identify and analyze process data to uncover cross‑site opportunities for reliability improvement.Lead divisional projects focused on enhancing systems, procedures, and practices (e.G., RCA system, asset health, exploded bills of materials).Facilitate the sharing and standardization of best practices across all sites to ensure consistent application of reliability principles.Technical Leadership and SupportProvide technical assistance and leadership to site teams on reliability improvement initiatives, including asset criticality analysis, FMEA, planning, scheduling, preventive and predictive maintenance, precision maintenance, downtime analysis, basic care,



and root cause analysis.Support teams in the implementation and optimization of reliability programs and strategies.Standardization of Base Data and Technology LeadershipWork with sites to improve and standardize base data, including equipment hierarchy, bills of materials, and parts identification, to support effective reliability management.Provide input into the selection, implementation, and ongoing management of software and systems used to support asset management and reliability (e.G., JD Edwards, easyRCA).Oversee the integration and optimization of these systems to ensure they meet divisional needs and support best practices.Keep abreast of emerging technologies (such as artificial intelligence, augmented reality, machine sensor technologies, and others) and evaluate their applicability to asset management and reliability.Champion the adoption of innovative tools and approaches that enhance reliability performance and operational efficiency.Leadership and CollaborationSupervise Reliability Engineers and Coop Students, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and career development.Collaborate cross‑functionally with site representatives, engineering, maintenance, and operations to drive reliability excellence.QualificationsB.S. in an Engineering discipline is preferredLean/Six Sigma certification and/or experience desiredCMRP Certification is desired5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment is requiredPrevious Reliability Engineering and/or Maintenance Leadership experience is requiredJD Edwards CMMS experience is a plusStrong interpersonal skills with a focus on leadershipExcellent computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office programs and CMMS is requiredAbout UsFounded in 1882, J.D.
