Join us and begin shaping your experience at Sovereign.How you will create impactBuilding insurance solutions on Guidewire PolicyCenter, including configuration, workflows, integrations and customization of out of the box features.Translating business and technical requirements into a cohesive implementation plan in alignment with Sovereign IT standards, collaborating closely with Solution Designers and technology partners.Performing technical analysis and formulating design approaches and program logic in partnership with Sovereign’s solution design team.Writing high quality, maintainable code to deliver new functionalities and enhancements, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.Performing unit testing, supporting system and user acceptance testing, and resolving defects through effective troubleshooting and root cause analysis.Contributing to and leading implementation,
back out and disaster recovery planning for assigned systems and solutions.Fostering robust working relationships with internal and external IT teams, vendor partners and project management, ensuring clear communication and timely, high‑quality deliverables.To join our teamYou have a diploma or degree in Information Technology or Computer Science and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the IT industry.You bring hands on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter, including Gosu, UI configuration, workflows, TeamCity and Guidewire Studio or IntelliJ.You have advanced experience with Java and J2EE, including strong understanding of Java design principles and unit testing with JUnit.You have experience working with SOAP and RESTful web services, as well as XML.You are experienced with database technologies such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL and MySQL.You have worked within Agile and DevOps environments, including test driven development and continuous integration tools such as Bitbucket or Git, Jira and Confluence.You demonstrate a positive attitude, eagerness to learn and the ability to contribute to and help evolve software development practices.How you will succeedYou influence change and are committed to continuous improvement,
