Working under the direction of the Director of Procurement, the role provides administrative and coordination support to facilitate efficient and consistent procurement activities.How you will make a differenceCollaborating with cross‑functional teams to support and coordinate activities throughout the procurement lifecycleCoordinating vendor meetings, presentations, and other engagement activitiesAssisting with the preparation and review of procurement documentation, including RFx (RFP, RFQ, RFI), contracts, and related materialsAssisting client departments through the procurement process, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and proceduresFacilitating contract execution by coordinating with organizational signing authorities and vendor representativesMaintaining accurate and organized pre‑ and post‑award contract files in accordance with procurement proceduresLiaising with client departments to manage contract amendments, renewals, and related activitiesTracking, updating, and maintaining the contracts database to ensure accuracy, completeness, and data integrityParticipating in the testing and implementation of new financial information system (FIS)
solutions related to procurementRequirements that are important to usUniversity degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related fieldFour to five years of relevant experience, including demonstrated ability to prepare and execute complex, competitive procurement processes.Understanding of procurement law and contract law, as well as information systems, is an assetProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelExperience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Centre is an assetStrong communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly, concisely, and in a timely mannerThe OMA has moved to a permanent hybrid work environment.
