compliance and health and safety within the Long-Term Care Division.Partner with the business and build strong relationships at all levels of the organization and acts as a trusted advisor to the Senior Operations leadership team.Effectively coach leadership in matters relating to people, HR processes, employment practices, HR programs and corresponding impact on the business.Oversee and support in conflict resolution, employee concerns, administration of broad employee programs and practices both directly and indirectly.Partner with the business to deliver Human Resources projects and initiatives through the use of change management and communications strategies designed to increase the adoption of HR initiatives.In collaboration with the HRBP’s and business leaders, reinforce the appropriate application of HR policies, operational processes, standards and procedures to ensure alignment with the organization's vision, mission and values and to ensure adherence with legislative requirements.Develop and implement an annual HR operating plan in line with the business plan to ensure HR plans & initiatives support the needs of the business.Partner with the business to develop and communicate human resources policies & procedures.Execute on strategies to maximize team member engagement and retention.Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date regarding legislation changes or changes that affect human resources and the organization.Play a lead role during company acquisitions and dispositions.



Participate in the due diligence process and work with the leadership team to ensure a smooth integration and transition to promote a positive team member experience.Leadership & Team ManagementLead, develop, coach and manage a team of field HRBPs to execute on the Human Resources and Labour strategy and ensure consistent and effective delivery of service to each region.Set direction and establish priorities for key department initiatives as assigned.Provide mentoring and career development to team members to strengthen their capabilities, build functional expertise and foster a team-oriented, values-driven team culture of high standards, strong productivity and innovation.Who you areBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.8+ years of progressive Human Resources generalist experience in a multi-site unionized & non-unionized environments, and within a large HR function.5+ years’ experience in a leadership role managing a team of HR professionalsWhat you need to knowAny offer of employment will be conditional upon a criminal background and references check.We will review applications as they are received.
