Senior Accountant *This is a Public Accounting Role and requires public accounting experience in Canada* Downtown Toronto Salary around $80,000 to $95,000 If you like doing things properly, this one is worth your time. This is a small CPA firm just west of downtown Toronto. Easy to reach from Etobicoke, Mississauga, North York, or the core. Parking is straightforward and transit is close by. They are looking for someone who enjoys accounting and tax in equal measure. Someone who likes understanding the numbers, not just pushing them through software. What really sets this firm apart is how they work. You are not micromanaged. You are trusted to think. You are supported when you need it. Hybrid working is genuinely flexible. Most people come into the office one or two days a week. More if you want. Less if you need. Outside of April, the hours are sensible and predictable. You will be preparing financial statements, supporting balance sheet accounts, and working through adjusting journal entries properly. Tax work includes T2s, T1s, T3s, T4s and T5s.
