Compass Digital is seeking a Director of Product Marketing to define how our products, platforms, and partnerships are understood in the market. This role is responsible for shaping Compass Digital’s product narrative and thought leadership , translating complex capabilities into a clear, differentiated point of view that resonates with executives, operators, and internal teams alike. You will lead the development of portfolio-level narratives, thought leadership, and messaging frameworks that differentiate Compass Digital in a crowded digital ecosystem, while translating those narratives into sales enablement and GTM motions that accelerate deals. Success in this role is defined by how effectively our story drives confidence, alignment, and action across buyers and internal teams. What You’ll Do Product Narrative & Thought Leadership Define and lead Compass Digital’s product and portfolio narrative , articulating a clear, differentiated POV on the future of foodservice, operations, and digital enablement. Translate product capabilities, strategy, and partnerships into compelling stories that resonate with executives, operators, and technical stakeholders . Identify industry trends, customer pain points, and competitive dynamics to shape thought leadership agendas, executive messaging, and strategic content . Create and evolve core messaging frameworks, value propositions, and proof points that unify internal alignment and external positioning. Partner closely with Product to influence roadmap storytelling, demo narratives, and value articulation for new solutions and releases. Oversee the creation of high-impact content including whitepapers, research reports, executive presentations, articles, webinars, and POV pieces.
Storytelling & Sales Enablement Equip Sales teams with clear, persuasive narratives that move opportunities from interest to closed-won. Build a scalable enablement system (talk tracks, battlecards, demo flows, proposal narratives, ROI tools) aligned to buyer journeys and deal stages. Establish a proposal and RFP center of excellence, including security/IT standard responses, documentation kits, and compliance narratives that reduce cycle time leveraging AI to help deploy and keep updated Craft data-driven customer advocacy — case studies, pilot stories, sectorized proof, that measurably influence buying decisions. Deliver enablement and product learning sessions that prioritize clarity, confidence, and outcomes, not feature recitation. Insight, Research & Competitive Intelligence Run win/loss analysis, competitive tracking, and field discovery to continuously sharpen narrative, positioning, and sales plays. Translate insights into differentiated messaging, executive-ready business cases, and commercial storytelling assets. Cross-Functional Leadership & Partnership Act as a senior strategic partner to Product, Sales, Marketing, Digital Expansion, and Operations leaders. Align product narrative with GTM motions, support expansion strategies, and sector-specific growth priorities. Ensure consistent amplification of key messages across campaigns, launches,
and customer engagements. Team Leadership Hire, coach, and scale a PMM team focused on narrative excellence, strategic thinking, and revenue impact . Establish high craft standards, clear priorities, and robust operating rhythms across cross-functional partners. Model executive presence, exceptional communication, and data-informed decision-making. What You’ll Bring 8–12+ years of B2B product marketing experience (platform, SaaS, or complex solutions preferred). Demonstrated excellence in product narrative, positioning, and executive storytelling. Proven experience supporting sales enablement and deal acceleration in complex, multi stakeholder buying environments. Analytical rigor with experience in win/loss, funnel diagnostics, and financial modeling (ROI/TCO). Tools fluency (productivity/AI, enablement/LMS, CRM) and willingness to travel for field discovery, site visits, and key deals. Excellent communication, writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills; comfort presenting to executive audiences. Position Details: Position Title: Director Product Marketing Salary: 140,000.00 - 170,000.00 Bonus Eligible, 4 Weeks Vacation and more! Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent Hybrid: 4 Days in Office - Toronto/ Mississauga In accordance with provincial legislation and our commitment to transparent hiring practices, the compensation range for this position is provided.
