Become TELUS's Director of Safety and Compliance to lead and transform our organizational health and safety practices. This full-time position emphasizes strategic leadership, compliance management, and team development. In this role, you will report to the VP of People Practices & Consulting and will be responsible for implementing safety management systems while fostering a solid safety culture.

Your proficiency in safety practices and ability to engage executives and stakeholders will be crucial in maintaining TELUS's leadership in workplace safety. Key Responsibilities:
Mentor multi-disciplinary Safety team members
Create and roll out organization-wide safety initiatives
Analyze KPIs to improve operational effectiveness
Serve as Safety authority for senior leadership interactions
Oversee budget management for safety initiatives Requirements:
Minimum 15 years in health and safety field
8 years of people management experience
Collaboration experience in unionized settings
Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related
Qualified certifications in health and safety a plus Utilize your expertise in health and safety to enhance TELUS's organizational operations and culture.
