Petroglyph Animal Hospital in Nanaimo is seeking an enthusiastic receptionist/veterinary assistant to join our team. Preference will be given to those with Veterinary reception experience; however training will be provided for the right candidate.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be very energetic and possess exceptional customer service skills.
Main Duties include but not limited to: Answering phones Answering client queries Booking appointments Greeting clients and patients Cleaning Skills/Abilities: Multi-task in busy setting Focus on details Be able to think ahead Work well under pressure Well organized, comfortable and empathetic with sensitive and emergent situations.
This is a full time position that will include 32 hours per week.
The Candidate must be okay with patient handling, loud noises, and foul odors at times.
