Join S.U.C.C.E.S.S. as a Program Assistant in the Settlement & Family Services sector. This part time position offers an prospect to enhance the lives of newcomers through direct service delivery.
This role is designed for candidates enthusiastic about facilitating settlement services for immigrants and refugees. As a pivotal connector among clients, staff, and community members, you will conduct needs assessments, provide key referrals, and assist with accessing government resources.
This dynamic position plays an integral part in helping newcomers acclimate to their recent setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide needs assessments and key referrals to clients
Deliver essential settlement information and services
Assist clients with form completion and resource access
Support community outreach through volunteer training
Engage in program activities such as workshops and classes
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Social or Human Sciences
Experience in multicultural environments
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Technical proficiency in MS Office and web applications
Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed
