We are seeking a Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will often be the first point of contact for our clients and their pets. The most important objective is excellent client and patient care at all times.
It is a versatile position requiring, not only receptionist duties, but also patient care, restraint, assisting the veterinarian or other staff, keeping the hospital clean and orderly and excellent record keeping in a rapid paced setting among other duties. The candidate must be a self starter and an excellent communicator, able to work as a team and individually.
Experience
Previous experience as a Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist is recommended.
Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and animal handling is a plus. Proven organizational skills for record keeping and inventory, and familiarity of laboratory procedures are very helpful.
