Social Media Account Manager Dog Tales Rescue and Sanctuary, a world‑renowned dog rescue and horse sanctuary located on 50 acres in King City, Ontario, seeks a creative and organized Social Media Account Manager to lead its digital presence across multiple platforms. Responsibilities Schedule and produce engaging content (photos, videos, stories, reels, etc.) that aligns with the Dog Tales brand and mission. Manage and grow existing social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, X, etc.) with consistent, on‑brand posting. Set up and launch new social media accounts (LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, and others as needed). Monitor and respond to messages, comments, and community interactions in a timely and compassionate manner. Track performance, engagement metrics, and audience growth across platforms; report insights and adjust strategies accordingly. Work with the Media team to plan and execute campaigns, highlight rescue stories, promote adoptable animals, and events. Stay up to date with social media best practices, trends, and platform updates to keep content fresh and effective. Qualifications 2+ years of skilled experience managing social media accounts. Proficiency in content scheduling tools such as Later, Hootsuite, Buffer, or Meta Business Suite. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
