Thales Canada is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for a hybrid position in Victoria or Mill Bay, BC. Contribute to the Royal Canadian Navy’s Non-Combatant In-Service Support Programs, focusing on marine systems. In this senior role, you'll oversee mechanical support for various Navy platforms.

This involves managing marine propulsion and maneuvering systems while ensuring compliance with quality and commercial guidelines. You'll collaborate with intermediate and junior engineers, providing mentorship and guidance within the Thales LCMM & Engineering Team. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare marine system technical documentation
Conduct technical investigations into system malfunctions
Manage engineering changes and work packages
Analyze requirements for configuration changes
Perform Life Cycle and Materiel Management functions Requirements:
Minimum 9 years of mechanical engineering experience
Bachelor Degree in Marine or Mechanical Engineering
Registered Qualified Engineer in Canada
Ability to obtain NATO Secret Clearance
Fluent in English; French is a plus Leverage your expertise in marine engineering and lead a dedicated team to support Navy operations with Thales Canada.
