Job Summary:

Valley Granite Products is a stone fabrication shop that is seeking an experienced stone fabricator to join our team. Our core manufacturing revolves around stone countertop production. Essential Functions:

-Must be able to read and understand digitized shop drawings to determine the work order at hand.

-Ability to edge polish various types of stones with various types of profiles (Ogee, Bullnose, eased edge etc.)

-Understanding the composition of various Marbles, Quartzites, granites, and engineered stones and how they behave during handling and processing

-Manipulate, edge, process, modify, trim, cut, and scribe stone to specification (Dry or Wet)





-Strong ability to color match epoxies and glue stone together seamlessly, fix chips/damage etc.

-Robust understanding of building countertop and fireplace pieces using multiple pieces that are often mitre cut.

-Good work ethic, attitude, and workplace organization

Requirements:

Valid work visa/sin number to legally work in Canada

-at least 5 years of in shop stone fabrication experience

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based upon experience and skill level with competitive benefits including paid vacation, health insurance, dental vision insurance.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $28.00-$36.00 per hour
