Become a vital part of Halifax County's custodial team as a part time Custodian I. This role involves general cleaning and maintenance of county buildings, requiring physical strength and efficiency.

As a Custodian I, you will ensure cleanliness across various county facilities for approximately 18 hours per week. Ideal candidates should have a strong understanding of cleaning practices and the ability to work both independently and in a team setting.

Your responsibilities will also involve following directions and maintaining productive relationships with colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform general cleaning of county buildings and facilities
Walk, bend, and lift (up to 50 lbs) as needed




Maintain cleanliness using appropriate supplies and equipment
Follow both oral and written directions accurately
Work effectively with associates to support cleanliness goals

Requirements:
High school graduation or equivalent
Knowledge of cleaning practices and equipment
Valid North Carolina driver's license
Ability to read, write, and work independently
Solid interpersonal skills for team collaboration
