We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Static Security Guard to maintain safety and security at our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring premises, preventing loss, and ensuring a secure environment through vigilant surveillance and proactive security measures. This role is essential in protecting assets, personnel, and property, providing peace of mind for our organization.
Responsibilities
Conduct regular patrols of the designated area to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security threats
Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to observe activity and detect suspicious behavior
Enforce access control procedures by verifying credentials and maintaining logs of visitors and personnel
Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, following established protocols
Maintain detailed incident reports and documentation of daily activities
Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying vulnerabilities and implementing security best practices
Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary to ensure safety
Requirements
Prior experience or background in law enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred
Knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and loss prevention techniques
Solid observational skills with the ability to detect suspicious activity quickly and accurately
Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and professionally
Ability to remain alert during long shifts and work independently with minimal supervision
Must be able to pass background checks and meet any licensing requirements applicable to security personnel
