In this role, you will provide essential planning services within the Setting and Climate Change Department.
Your primary responsibility includes the development and implementation of regional land use plans while ensuring compliance with legislative frameworks. You'll work closely with various stakeholders and provide expert guidance to senior management. Key Responsibilities:
Offer expert advice on land use planning initiatives
Ensure timely fulfillment of GNWT's land use obligations
Lead the implementation of regional planning programs
Liaise with legal counsel on planning matters
Act as contact for regional land use planning boards Requirements:
Master’s degree in planning or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of relevant planning experience
Familiarity with departmental Acts and policies
Ability to manage changing deadlines effectively
