Atlantic is searching for a dedicated Senior Watchkeeping Engineer to support our fleet operations. This position requires at least two years of relevant experience and certifications including STCW and a Marine Medical Certificate. You will be part of a diverse team committed to safety, integrity, and excellence in service. Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor ship systems and machinery
Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols
Conduct maintenance on propulsion systems and equipment
Collaborate with crew to enhance operational efficiency
Maintain records and documentation as required Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
Valid STCW 6.1 and 6.2 Certificates
Propulsion Plant Simulator Certificate II
Marine Medical Certificate from Transport Canada
Ability to lift and handle weights over 20 kg Take on a crucial engineering role while working on the beautiful waterways of Nova Scotia and Newfoundland.
