Responsibilities
Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures with precision and care
Perform laboratory tests, including blood work, urinalysis, and other diagnostic procedures to aid in accurate diagnosis
Prepare animals for procedures by administering medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
Monitor anesthesia and vital signs during surgical procedures to ensure patient safety
Maintain accurate medical records, update patient files, and document treatment plans thoroughly
Educate pet owners on post-treatment care, medication administration, and preventive health strategies
Support laboratory activities by collecting samples and conducting tests to facilitate swift diagnosis
Requirements
Valid license as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
Proven laboratory experience with familiarity in performing diagnostic tests efficiently and accurately
Strong understanding of veterinary medical practices, animal anatomy, and pharmacology
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members
Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail, multi tasking, and compassion for animals
Willingness to continuously learn new techniques and stay current with veterinary advancements
