The Role

We are hiring a Satellite & Internet Installer to handle Shaw satellite dish installations and repairs, and Starlink internet system deployments. This is a field-based, client-facing position. You will be the face of Vex Automation on every job, so professionalism and genuine customer service skills are non-negotiable.

You will be working independently the majority of the time. Self-direction and reliability are essential — we need someone who can manage a job from start to finish without supervision.

Responsibilities
Install, align, and repair Shaw satellite dish systems at residential and commercial properties
Install and commission Starlink internet systems, including mounting hardware and cabling
Perform rooftop and ladder work safely and confidently — this is a regular part of the job
Assess sites and determine optimal equipment placement and cable routing
Contact customers directly to coordinate access, communicate progress, and answer questions
Deliver a qualified, courteous experience on every job
Complete work on schedule and report any issues promptly

What We Are Looking For

Required:
Previous experience with satellite dish installation (Shaw, Bell, Starlink, or similar)



— candidates without installation experience are unlikely to be considered
Comfortable and competent working on rooftops and ladders at varying heights
Solid customer service skills — you will be dealing directly with customers on site
Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record
Highly independent and self-motivated
Professional appearance and reliable work ethic

An Asset:
Basic knowledge of networking and Wi-Fi setup, particularly for Starlink installations and troubleshooting
Low-voltage or electrical background
Electrical Background

What We Offer
$22.00/hour. (Possible bonus structure)
Company truck provided
Monday to Friday, standard business hours
Swift Current, SK and surrounding area
Room to grow as we are also an Electrical Contractor that specializes in smart home, Home Theater, and security.
