Safetech Scaffold Ltd. is currently seeking committed individuals for the position of SCAFFOLD FOREPERSON to join our growing team of project leaders. We have a great team of people working within a safety conscious workplace, with jobs spanning Vancouver Island (and occasionally other places within the province as well). Job requirements:
Demonstrate strong leadership skills and value teamwork
Be a dedicated self-starter, taking pride in their accomplishments
Maintain excellent communication skills while interacting with customers and management
Ensure health and safety protocols are always followed
Be able to work efficiently and maintain an organized method
Present effective problem-solving abilities
Provide own CSA approved steel-toed boots and a hard hat

Job duties:
Able to read drawings and build scaffold accordingly
Create comprehensive equipment lists, as necessary
Meet timelines set by customers and management
Complete all paperwork required daily
Confidently train and mentor apprentices
Perform other duties, as needed

Job Qualifications:




Minimum 5+ years verifiable experience in scaffolding (References Required)
Minimum 1+ years verifiable experience as a foreperson (References Required)
Relevant credentials necessary (scaffold ticket/experience)
Fall protection certification (REQUIRED)
Valid class 5 driver’s license with clean abstract (REQUIRED)
First Aid certification (an asset, not required)

Working Conditions:
This is moderately strenuous work. Scaffolders must be capable of performing repetitive tasks and may require extended periods of standing, crouching, crawling, or kneeling.
There may be potential exposure to high noise levels and hazards associated with job sites.
Must be willing and able to work outdoors in all kinds of weather conditions, year-round.

Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
