Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Aluminum Railing Installer to join our growing team. If you take pride in quality workmanship, have experience installing aluminum railing systems, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you. Installer’s will report to the company shop/yard daily and install product at new builds, renovations, and commercial building sites across Vancouver Island.

Reporting to the company’s Vice President and Scheduler, the Installer will be responsible for but not limited to:
Loading product
Transporting product
Installing product
Communication with Estimators
Completing and submitting paperwork to office
Read and interpret drawings, plans and install specifications
Measure, cut and fit railing components accurately
Safely operate power tools and install equipment
Troubleshoot install challenges
Communicate professionally with customers, contractors and team members
Maintain a clean, organized and safe worksite




Updating Project Management Software
Assist training new hires

All tools, vehicles, equipment, and necessary certifications will be provided by K. & S. Railings Ltd. for employed installers. Sub-contractor position available if considered the right fit.

Skills and Attributes

· Positive attitude and mindset

· Ability to work both as a team player and individually

· Self-driven and reliable

· Ability to work overtime when necessary

· Physically fit and able to perform manual labour

Education and Experience

· Minimum 2 years experience installing aluminum railing systems

· Strong knowledge of railing installation techniques

· Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

· Ability to lift minimum 50lbs and perform physically demanding work

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality work

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
