Role Description The Shift Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role located in Orangeville, ON, responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts. This role leads and supports team members to ensure excellent guest service, product quality, and a clean, safe environment. Key tasks include supervising food preparation and line operations, monitoring inventory and waste, and supporting cash handling and reconciliation procedures.

The Shift

Supervisor helps train team members, enforces company policies and food safety standards,



and assists with opening and closing duties. This role also contributes to a positive work culture, addresses guest concerns, and supports store performance goals.

Qualifications

Experience in team leadership and supervision in a restaurant or retail environment, including scheduling, task delegation, and performance support.

Robust customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and team members in a quick-paced setting.

Knowledge of basic food safety, cleanliness, and quality control standards, with attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.

Cash handling and basic math skills, including operating POS systems, handling transactions, and assisting with shift-level reporting.

Ability to work full time, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, and to stand for extended periods and perform moderate physical tasks.

Previous shift lead or supervisory experience in food service is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is beneficial.
