The Mechanical
Supervisor role entails direct oversight of mechanical personnel for maintenance and repair of mobile and fixed equipment. Successful candidates will possess robust leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of safety standards, and hands-on experience in the mining industry. You will collaborate closely with the Project Superintendent to meet production goals. Key Responsibilities:
Supervise maintenance of underground and surface equipment
Monitor adherence to safety standards and regulations
Oversee materials management and risk controls
Collaborate with project leadership on production objectives
Train and mentor mechanical personnel Requirements:
Journeyman Certificate (421A) preferred
7+ years as Heavy-Duty Technician in mining
5+ years of mining industry experience
2+ years in a leadership role
Familiarity with WHMIS and safety protocols Lead the maintenance efforts and ensure equipment reliability at Redpath's Westwood Mine operation.
