Receptionist – Part Time Position

Jim Gauthier Kia is seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our customers, you'll play a key role in creating a positive dealership experience while supporting multiple departments with administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
Answer incoming phone calls and direct customers to the appropriate department
Track and log incoming sales calls
Process customer payments and issue receipts
Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records
Securely deposit funds into the safe
Manage and track dealer plates, gas cards, keys, and other dealership assets
Assist with filing, data entry, and general administrative duties
Maintain a skilled and welcoming reception area
Support sales, service, and administration teams as required

Qualifications:
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Comfortable handling cash and financial transactions
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a quick-paced environment




Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets is considered an asset
Previous reception, administrative, or customer service experience is considered an asset- willing to train the right candidate
Automotive dealership experience is an asset but not required

Schedule & Compensation:
Estimated schedule: Part-time weekday evenings and rotating full-day Saturdays
Starting wage: $17.00 /hour
