We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Liquor Store Clerk to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, manage sales transactions efficiently, and maintain an organized store environment. Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products, offering product demos when appropriate
Operate POS systems accurately for sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
Maintain merchandising standards by restocking shelves and organizing displays to attract customers
Upsell products and promote special offers to enhance sales opportunities
Ensure compliance with legal age restrictions for alcohol sales and verify customer identification as needed
Keep the store clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout the shift
Handle customer inquiries courteously via phone or in person,



providing excellent communication and phone etiquette
Manage time effectively to ensure all duties are completed efficiently during shifts
Assist in inventory management and participate in stock counts as required

Skills
Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities in English; bilingual skills are a plus
Proficiency with POS systems and basic math for cash handling and transaction accuracy
Knowledge of retail sales techniques, merchandising, and upselling strategies
Ability to perform product demos confidently and educate customers about available products
Organizational skills to maintain an orderly store environment and manage time effectively during shifts
Good phone etiquette for handling inquiries professionally
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Basic understanding of alcohol laws and age verification procedures
Experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate

Pay: From $18.25 per hour
