Warehouse Associate (Tech-Enabled Operations)

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our quick-paced distribution operation. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable using technology on the warehouse floor, including scanning guns and inventory management systems, and who has hands-on experience operating forklifts and reach trucks. The successful candidate will be safety-focused, organized, and able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities
Operate material handling equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers.
Use RF scanning guns and a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to accurately track inventory, picks, and movements.
Perform order picking, packing, and staging to meet daily shipping deadlines.
Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments.
Assist with shipping and receiving, including verifying quantities and documentation.
Conduct inventory counts and assist with stock reconciliation.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.




Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
Work collaboratively with team members to meet operational targets.

Requirements & Experience
2+ years of warehouse experience in a distribution or logistics workplace preferred.
Experience using scanning guns and inventory/WMS systems is required.
Valid forklift and reach truck experience (certification preferred or willingness to obtain).
Comfortable with technology and learning new systems.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
Robust attention to detail and accuracy.
Mechanical aptitude is an asset.

Experience with cycle counts and inventory audits
Order fulfillment and packaging experience
Previous experience in a high-volume warehouse

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
