Personal Support Worker (PSW) – 1:1 Client Care

Job Responsibilities
Companionship: Provide social stimulation, conversation, and mental engagement.
Active Living:



Initiate and promote physical activity tailored to the client's abilities.
Meal Preparation: Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals as needed.
Personal Care: Prompt clients with their routine and assist directly with personal care.
Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean environment (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, dishes, laundry).
Outings & Appointments: Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities.

Position Requirements
Current certification in Standard First Aid and CPR.
Successful completion of a Criminal Background Check, including the Vulnerable Sector Screen (copy required).

All caregivers are to wear a mask while with a client. Personal protective equipment is provided. All caregivers are to be up to date on COVID-19 vaccinations and provide proof of vaccination.
