You will champion initiatives to reduce scrap and downtime while managing launch activities for steel and aluminum assemblies. The position requires expertise in CAD tools and encompasses responsibilities across various manufacturing processes and tooling development. Key Responsibilities:
Champion continuous improvement initiatives for manufacturing processes
Design and manage assembly tooling and processes
Conduct quality rapid response meetings and troubleshoot production issues
Create and update PFMEA’s, process flows, and work instructions
Handle projects from inception to completion with moderate leadership follow-up Requirements:
Engineering degree in Mechanical Manufacturing or related field
Minimum five years in automotive assembly or similar industry
Proficiency with CAD tools such as AutoCAD or Solidworks
Experience with FMEA, APQP, and DOE
