Make a significant impact as a Labour Relations Advisor with the Region of Waterloo. This temporary full time role involves providing essential labour relations advice and managing collective agreements. As a valued member of the Labour Relations team, you will advise staff across all levels, ensuring the consistent application of policies and procedures.

You'll engage with unions, manage performance issues, and oversee workplace investigations. Your expertise will contribute to a more equitable and inclusive workplace, aligning with the Region's commitment to diversity and reconciliation efforts. Key Responsibilities:
Provide advice on collective agreements and employee relations issues
Chair grievance meetings and labour-management negotiations




Conduct workplace conflict mediations as needed
Design training programs on performance management
Collaborate on investigations related to workplace violence Requirements:
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Labour Relations
Knowledge of employment legislation and collective agreements
Robust negotiation and communication skills
Experience in public sector industrial relations
