Clinic is a multi-specialty practice with more than 100 providers located just off I-40/I-85. Burlington is accessible as a day trip to NC mountains and beaches. Ample recreational activities, shopping, and easy access to metros (Greensboro, Raleigh and Durham) are unique to Burlington.

We are currently seeking patient-focused individual for a Patient Service Associate position in our Cardiology Department. This position would be located at our Burlington Kernodle Clinic location. All candidates must have exceptional customer service, computer experience, medical knowledge,



multi-tasking skills and be able to provide a friendly and welcoming workplace to our patient population.

Experience preferred but not required. EPIC experience a plus but not required. Schedule would be Monday thru Friday, 8:00 – 5:00 p.m.

Job Type: Full time

Duties Include, but not limited to the following:
Receive, review and process incoming and outgoing referrals
Ensure referrals include appropriate clerical documentation, lab results, imaging and provider notes
Prioritize referrals based on urgency and provider guidelines
Enter and track referrals in the electronic medical record
Contact patients to schedule consultations and follow up appointments
Provide patients with appointment instructions, preparation guidelines and necessary documentation
