As part of our continued global expansion, we are seeking a motivated Lab & Research Assistant to join our team. This role will support routine immunoassay workflows and laboratory operations in a scientifically team-oriented and fast-paced environment with opportunities for hands-on learning and career development.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine immunoassays including immunohistochemical (IHC) staining, ELISA, and related laboratory procedures
Prepare samples, reagents, buffers, and other materials required for immunoassay workflows
Maintain accurate experimental records and assist with data collection and documentation
Support daily laboratory operations including inventory organization, equipment maintenance, and general lab upkeep
Follow established laboratory protocols, quality standards, and safety procedures
Collaborate closely with Research Scientists and Lab Managers to support ongoing research and development activities
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Pathology, or a related life science discipline
Previous laboratory experience in immunoassays, histology, ELISA, or related techniques is an asset
Basic knowledge of immunology, biochemistry, or pathology is preferred but not required
Solid attention to detail and organizational skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Compensation
Salary CAD $50,000 – $60,000 base, commensurate with education, experience, and industry exposure.
