Full-Time Intermediate Legal Assistant – Family Law

Location: Downtown Calgary, Alberta

Position: Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Intermediate Legal Assistant to join our growing Family Law team.

This is an excellent prospect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working collaboratively, and takes pride in providing exceptional client service.

Responsibilities
Preparing and drafting family law correspondence and court documents
Managing lawyer calendars, deadlines, and appointments
File management
Communicating professionally with clients, counsel, and the courts
Scheduling questioning, mediations, and court appearances
Preparing and organizing disclosure and court briefs
Electronic filing and document management
General administrative and legal assistant duties

Qualifications
Legal Assistant Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of legal assistant experience (Family Law preferred)
Strong knowledge of Alberta Court procedures and Rules of Court




Excellent organizational and time management skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a busy practice
Proficient with Microsoft Office and legal practice management software
Professional, reliable, and team-oriented

Salary range $60,000 - $70,000 per year, based on experience
