The Role

We're hiring an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our back-of-house. You'll run the line, keep food quality consistent, manage prep and inventory, and mentor kitchen staff. This is a hands-on role — you're cooking and leading.

Responsibilities
Oversee kitchen operations during scheduled shifts
Maintain food quality, portion control, and presentation standards
Handle prep, inventory counts, and ordering as needed
Train and supervise kitchen staff
Ensure compliance with Alberta food safety and sanitation standards
Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and running on time during rush
Troubleshoot equipment issues and escalate when needed





Requirements
Proven kitchen management experience (minimum 2 years in a lead cook, sous chef, or kitchen manager role)
Alberta Food Safety Certification (or willing to obtain within 30 days)
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and busy holiday periods
Physical stamina — able to stand for long shifts and lift up to 25 kg
Reliable, punctual, and a team leader
