Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Gravel Pit/Crusher operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining crushing equipment within a gravel extraction site, ensuring efficient processing of materials to meet project specifications. Your mechanical knowledge, construction experience, and familiarity with heavy machinery will drive the success of our operations.

Duties
Operate crushing machinery and related equipment safely and efficiently to produce high-quality aggregate materials
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on crushers, screens, conveyors, and other heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance
Monitor material feed rates, adjust settings as needed, and troubleshoot equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime
Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations during operation and maintenance activities
Assist with site preparation, including moving materials with forklifts or other machinery as required




Support construction-related tasks such as horizontal drilling or other site development activities when necessary
Maintain accurate records of production volumes, equipment maintenance, and safety checks

Experience
Proven mechanical knowledge with experience operating crushers or similar heavy machinery in a construction or mining workplace
Construction experience is highly preferred, especially within gravel pits or aggregate production facilities
Familiarity with oil & gas industry standards or projects is a plus
Valid forklift certification with experience operating forklifts in industrial settings
Commercial driving experience with a valid license to operate large vehicles or transport equipment
Knowledge of horizontal drilling techniques and equipment operation is advantageous
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift heavy materials safely
