Responsibilities
Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including floors, counters, and storage spaces.
Assist with food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, or portioning ingredients under supervision.
Support the kitchen team during busy periods by helping with basic food handling and prep work.
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met.
Help organize supplies and ensure that cleaning supplies are stocked and used correctly.
Adhere to health and safety regulations to create a protected working environment for everyone.
Skills
Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality settings is a plus but not mandatory.
Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and food safety practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
Good communication skills for effective teamwork with kitchen staff and servers.
