Join Hydro Ottawa as the Manager of Asset Information to lead engineering efforts in optimizing GIS data. Utilize analytics to improve distribution connections in a hybrid setting. In this role, you will oversee the multidisciplinary team responsible for maintaining Hydro Ottawa’s asset data integrity and performance metrics.
You will drive connection assessments and lead technical staff in analyzing system performance. Your efforts will support long-term planning through validated engineering models and risk assessments that maximize project efficiency and system reliability. Key Responsibilities:
Mentor and manage supervisors and engineers
Maintain governance of GIS data and documentation standards
Spearhead load assessment for current connections
Oversee engineering processes and system improvement initiatives
Conduct technical presentations for leadership and stakeholders Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Skilled Engineer licensed in Ontario
Five years of leadership experience
Knowledge of ISO55000 Asset Management
Bilingual (English/French) is a plus Drive strategic engineering initiatives at Hydro Ottawa and ensure sustainable asset management in Ottawa.
