You will be part of the Quality team in the role of Quality Coordinator (Evening Shift). The position requires demonstrating leadership aligned with the company's vision and values, working under pressure, motivating the team to meet tight deadlines, managing team performance using KPIs, overseeing workload and performance of unionized employees, and ensuring continuous improvement through problem‑solving processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage your team's performance using KPIs.
- Manage workload and individual performance of unionized employees.
- Coach your team (15–25 employees) to develop their talent within the organization.
- Identify, document, and standardize key processes that lead to achieving objectives.
- Optimize knowledge sharing and best practices across the organization.
Requirements
- Management experience in a unionized environment, in manufacturing (quality department is an asset) or ideally in the aerospace industry.
- Excellent management skills.
- Demonstrated leadership, judgment, flexibility, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Results‑oriented, able to meet tight deadlines, comfortable working under pressure and with a strong sense of urgency.
- Strong communication skills.
- Positive understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in French and English.
