Full Time position - Monday to Friday (7am – 3:30pm)

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Assist in general maintenance and upkeep of buildings, grounds, and equipment. Assists in the maintenance of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunction.

Qualifications & Skills:
Skills including, but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, diagnostics.
Knowledge of standard practices and procedures of construction trades such as plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting and mechanical systems a great asset
Experience in performing general building maintenance




Able to follow verbal and written instruction
Certified in operation of forklift an asset
Solid Mechanical aptitude and general understating of functions and operations of fabrication equipment.
Read diagrams, schematic drawings and service manuals to determine work procedures
Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts
