Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the incumbent ensures the smooth operation of production machinery by supervising his or her team’s tasks and ensuring that the team efficiently identifies and repairs various problems to maximize production efficiency. He or she is responsible for maintenance aspects throughout the entire plant and actively participates in daily operations as an active member of the management team. Main responsibilities - Supervise the activities of the technical maintenance team (technicians, mechanics, and electromechanics).
Ensure that the tasks scheduled for the entire team are carried out.
Ensure that work orders are carried out properly and that maintenance team members adhere to the schedule.
Manage and monitor the work of subcontractors and ensure that they fulfill their contracts.
Evaluate and train the technical maintenance team (technicians, mechanics, and electromechanics).
Conduct internal audits of the work performed by team members.
Conduct an annual performance evaluation for each team member.
Participate in the implementation of a training plan aligned with the Knowledge Plan.
Ensure that all team members are informed of all applicable plant policies and procedures and that they comply with them,



particularly with regard to hygiene and occupational health and safety.
Participate in the hiring of recent members of the technical maintenance team (technicians, mechanics, and electromechanics).
Ensure that current employees are trained on all applicable plant policies and procedures.
Make the necessary purchases for the technical maintenance team (technicians, mechanics, and electromechanics).
Participate in the management of the department.
Contribute to the development of the maintenance budget and ensure compliance.
Participate in project coordination and CAPEX management.
Propose and develop cost-reduction and performance-improvement projects—including adjustments to the work workplace and work schedules, as well as equipment acquisitions—to enhance the company’s effectiveness and efficiency.
