Northern Ontario, Canada | Full-Time, Permanent | Relocation Support Available

Salary Range: $120,000 – $160,000 per annum

About the Role

We are hiring a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations at a high-performing OSB (Oriented Strand Board) facility in Northern Ontario. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of all plant equipment while leading a skilled team of maintenance professionals.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop a team of maintenance supervisors, planners, and trades
Drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve uptime and reduce downtime
Oversee mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation maintenance activities
Partner with operations to optimize production efficiency and equipment reliability
Manage maintenance budgets, shutdowns, and capital projects
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
Implement continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, TPM, RCA)

Qualifications
5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in OSB/wood products/sawmills, pulp & paper, or heavy industrial manufacturing
Robust background in reliability and asset management
Experience managing unionized teams is a robust asset




Proven leadership in high-volume, continuous process environments
Engineering degree or equivalent experience preferred

Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is $120,000 to $160,000. Relocation support is available. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
