Support infection control efforts at Kelowna General Hospital as a Registered Nurse Infection Control Practitioner. This relief full time role engages directly in enhancing safety through proactive healthcare practices. We seek a Registered Nurse with recent experience in acute or long-term care, particularly in infection prevention strategies like routine practices and risk assessments.

The Practitioner will work alongside a diverse healthcare team to monitor and develop infection control initiatives, thereby improving the quality of clinical care across facilities. Key Responsibilities:
Participate in infection control assessments and planning
Educate healthcare staff about infection prevention
Monitor and report on infection control compliance
Assist in outbreak management initiatives
Redefine care practices based on evidence-informed methodologies Requirements:
Nursing degree and BCCNM registration
At least three years of relevant clinical experience
Enrollment in an approved infection control course
Valid Class 5 driver’s license Bring your nursing specialization to the forefront in shaping a secure healthcare setting at Kelowna General Hospital.
