Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Math and Science Tutor to support students in achieving their academic goals. The Tutor will provide personalized instruction across various subjects, fostering a positive learning environment. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about education, with strong communication skills and experience working with children. The Tutor will play a vital role in helping students build confidence and improve their understanding of key concepts.

Responsibilities
Deliver one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to students’ individual needs
Develop and implement effective lesson plans and instructional strategies
Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
Foster a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages student participation
Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and school staff regarding student performance and areas for improvement
Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student progress




Promote positive attitudes toward learning and academic achievement

Qualifications
Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably with classroom experience
Solid communication skills to effectively convey concepts to students of various ages
Ability to work well with children and adapt teaching methods to different learning styles
Knowledge of subject matter relevant to the tutoring areas offered
Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine interest in helping students succeed
Reliable, responsible, and able to commit to scheduled sessions consistently
Strong Math, Science, and/or Language skills an asset
