Become a Shift Program Clinical Counsellor at Family Services of Greater Vancouver. Focus on therapeutic counselling and case coordination to support individuals at risk of radicalization. This role involves managing a caseload within the Shift BC program and supporting participants through assessment and intervention.
An emphasis on trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices is essential. You will collaborate with a clinical team to implement individualized treatment plans and promote community safety. Key Responsibilities:
Develop individualized safety plans for participants
Provide evidence-based therapeutic counselling techniques
Facilitate interdisciplinary consultations for case management
Engage in culturally responsive practices with clients
Document service delivery and participant progress consistently Requirements:
Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology or Social Work
At least three years of trauma-informed counselling experience
Training in therapeutic techniques like IFS and expressive arts
Experience with violence prevention strategies
