Junior Financial Accountant - Investment Funds The ideal candidate will be primarily responsible for the daily oversight of financial activities and reporting for all Pools Funds and will report directly to the Manager of Investment Reporting.

Key Responsibilities
Support the Manager of Investment Reporting by providing oversight of portfolio valuations, custody, and general ledger activities of the Pools.
Provide support for multiple regulatory and compliance requirements, including preparation of financial statements, MRFP’s, top 25 holdings, fund facts.
Provide support to the Manager of Investment Reporting during the year-end audit of the Pools.
Preparing journal entries and reconciliations for the Pools.
Assist in the review of marketing communications for data integrity.
Providing support for tax reporting requirements of the Pools.
Communicating regularly with the Pool’s recordkeeper and trustee.
Assist with other compliance-related processes/activities as needed.
Assist with ad-hoc analysis as required




Provide ongoing support to other departments as needed
Other duties as required.

Education & Experience
Undergraduate degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related discipline
1 – 3 years’ experience in an accounting role
Intermediate-level accounting education.
A combination of education and experience will be considered

Robust verbal and written communication skills.
Advanced working knowledge/experience with Microsoft Office products
