Over the nine-month program, you will engage in comprehensive journalism training while producing stories that resonate with Indigenous audiences.

The structure includes immersive experiences, skill development, and mentorship, designed to cultivate your storytelling abilities and prepare you for a career in journalism. Key Responsibilities:
Learn from immersive training sessions about CBC’s culture
Build storytelling skills and craft your development roadmap
Work in a CBC newsroom producing impactful stories
Refine your voice and explore career opportunities
Foster relationships with mentors and peers Requirements:
Background in First Nations, Inuit, or Métis culture
Ability to present storytelling examples
Strong collaboration and critical thinking skills
Availability for full time in office work
