Responsibilities
Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to maintain cleanliness standards
Support food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, or assembling ingredients under supervision
Assist with general cleaning duties throughout the kitchen area, including floors, surfaces, and storage spaces
Ensure proper handling and disposal of waste and recyclables in accordance with health regulations
Maintain a tidy workstation to promote safety and efficiency during busy service periods




Support the culinary team with basic food service tasks such as setting up stations or replenishing supplies as needed
Follow all food safety protocols and hygiene practices to uphold high standards of cleanliness and sanitation

Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; willingness to learn is key
Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Basic understanding of kitchen operations and food preparation processes
Robust teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks such as lifting or bending
