We are seeking dedicated and professional Emergency Medical Responders (EMRs) to join our event medical team. Our EMRs provide on-site medical coverage at sporting events, concerts, festivals, corporate functions, and community events across Ontario.

Qualifications

Applicants must have
A valid Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) certification.
A valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification in good standing.
Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to event locations.
Strong patient assessment and emergency medical care skills within the EMR scope of practice.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
The ability to work flexible, event-based schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities As an Event Medical Responder, you will:
Provide qualified in office medical standby coverage at a variety of public and private events.
Assess patients and respond to medical emergencies within the EMR scope of practice.




Administer appropriate care using equipment such as AEDs, oxygen, airway management devices, and trauma equipment.
Communicate effectively with event staff, emergency services, and healthcare partners when required.
Complete accurate and timely patient care reports following all medical incidents.
Maintain a professional, compassionate, and safety-focused approach while representing CHCPTI
