Job Title: Production Apprentice

Pay $19-$21 Depending on experience

Location Mississauga Derry & Bramalea

Rotating shifts Between Days and Afternoons-Training on days

Role Summary We are looking for self- motivated individuals who are able to learn quickly while not being afraid to ask for clarification when unsure of the task at hand.

Roles and Responsibilities
Operate various sheet metal equipment.
Perform the following
deburring
polishing
hydroforming
manual forming
Work from blueprints, templates, etc. using pneumatic and manual hand tools.
Align metal parts or structural components in relation to each other with the use of dowel pins, wedges, jacks, turnbuckles, and other construction aids.
Layout most sheet metal patterns proficiently.
May be assigned miscellaneous tasks outside craft as required.
Training will be provided.





Qualifications And Education Requirements
1 year of relevant experience
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to work with small, high-quality parts.
Excellent math and mechanical skills
Must be able to speak and understand the English language.
Ability to adapt to current situations and challenges.
Positive attitude

Preferred Skills Good communication skills, solid problem-solving skills – particularly relevant in managing customer concerns, adaptable to work rotating shifts to accommodate production schedule, must disclose any physical restrictions regarding bending, twisting, heavy lifting (<50lbs), and long hour standing for 7–8 hours.
