We are seeking a reliable and caring Cook/Janitor to join our team. This position is responsible for preparing nutritious meals and snacks for children and maintaining a clean, secure, and welcoming daycare workplace.
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks.
Follow food safety and sanitation standards.
Clean and sanitize kitchen, classrooms, washrooms, and common areas.
Maintain cleaning supplies and report maintenance concerns.
Support a positive and safe setting for children and staff.
Qualifications
Experience in food preparation and/or custodial work is an asset.
Knowledge of food safety practices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check required.
